And the fish is...
I broke down and bought a goldfish for the girls today! Boy am I glad that it wasn't a dog or I would really be in trouble. Sweet Pea has not stopped asking if she can hold it in her hands and does not understand that the fish has to stay in water. Pumpkin Pie is enthralled and wants to teach it tricks but I know that her attention to the fish will soon wear off. The girls have agreed and the fishy is officially named Angel Grace (they had to cooperate on the name). I feel confident that I will have funny stories to tell soon in regards to the fish.

welcome to angel grace...a very sophistocated name for a goldfish and i love it!! we need pics:) our cats love fish...they keep them quite entertained...the cats have never caught any. where did you get angel grace? did you get a filter ect or just a bowl...i ask cuz i am thinking of one for the kitchen table.
I just got the bowl and some rocks and little decorations for it (all from Wal-mart). I will try to post a pic this week. So far, she has proved to not be the smartest of fish- she got stuck under the rocks in the bowl last night and we had to move the rocks to let her out. I'm hoping she is teachable. We had a plain bowl for my last fish and we just had to clean it out weekly and it only took about five minutes to do so.
