If you have been reading, you would be aware that my children want a dog. Last night, Sweet Pea and I was getting ready for bed and she had gone to potty. I asked her to wait to flush because I needed to pee right after her. Sweet Pea's next comment, "Yeah, cause if we flush we would be using money that we could have for a puppy." The best part is that she sure did not learn that from me. I insist on the potty being flushed after it is used and have never told her that we have to save up money for a puppy.
On another note, I was cleaning Mario's bowl yesterday and noticed him trying to jump out of his cup AGAIN! I requested that Matt come watch him while I finished up his bowl. My wimpy husband jumps back at one point and screams because Mario jumped again and almost came out of his bowl. Matt says that it freaked him out. I think he is just a wimp and therefore could not handle a pet that was any larger or more demanding.

that is so funny! I can hear them now when theyre older....my mom wouldn't get us a puppy because we had to flush the toilet! They are hilarious...including matt...scared of a jumping goldfish:) Your pics came in yesterday!! If you want I can drop them off over the weekend so you can have them sooner...let me know:)
yes...my next excuse not to have another puppy is that i had to flush the toilet!! wish i had known this before!! and what is up with the jumping fish and matt jumping at the jumping fish!!! what a great video that would be. rob doesn't like rodents...i've seen him on a bed screaming it's a mice!! that's what is so much fun about husbands...they are funny and cute:)

I clean the bowl every week so I will have to set up a camera without Matt's knowledge. Otherwise, he will be Mr. Bad*ss to pretend he isn't afraid. That would be something that could make it to America's Funniest home videos.
