A Good Day

Today, the kids were on a roll so you get several little funnies.

I was getting Sweet Pea dressed to run an errand today. She is really into Scooby Doo right now and decided that she wanted to watch an episode while I got her ready to go. When she seen her clothes, she decided that she did not like that outfit and wanted a different one. When asked which outfit she wanted to wear, she replied, "It's a mystery." She wanted to leave me clues to figure it out but we were in a little bit of a hurry so she had some encouragement to play the mystery later.

Neither of the kids like for my husband to drive. I blame myself for that because his driving gets on my nerves as well but I also hate driving in a high traffic area so I'm willing to sacrifice once in a while. While traveling, Sweet Pea comments, "Dad, your driving is making me dizzy."

While at a store tonight, we were looking for the price on an item. It was on sale and there was a sign underneath the item. My husband and I were both unable to find the price on the item. Pumpkin Pie, being the little genius that she is, comments, "maybe they misspelled red" as she looked at the "reg." (for regular) When we informed her "mistake", she hung her head down and said, "how embarrassing." All I have to say is that the brains had to come from her dad's side of the family.
