Child: Mom, I can't find the answer to number two.
Me: (Reading question: "In which of the three states of matter does air exist naturally?") OK, what are the three states of matter?
Child: Liquid, Solid, Gas...(pause)...Oh, I thought it wanted to know which state in the United States!
Hmmm...did she get that brain from her dad?
